Target Audience
This conference is designed for rheumatologists, family practice physicians, internists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants and pharmacists.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the conference, participants will be better able to:
  • Assess current and emerging immunosuppressive, anti-inflammatory, and disease-modifying treatments for rheumatic diseases considering pathophysiologic targets; mechanisms of action; safety and efficacy data; dosing, adherence and access; and impact on therapeutic selection.
  • Describe evidence-based guidance for mitigating complications associated with rheumatic diseases.
  • Evaluate treatment options for the management of rheumatic manifestations of autoimmune diseases and atypical manifestations of rheumatic diseases.
  • Apply current guideline recommendations and shared decision-making strategies that improve the management of patients with rheumatic diseases.
