Perspectives in Rheumatic Diseases (PRD) Resident/Fellow Scholarship Program

We are inviting oncology residents and fellows from US programs to attend the 2026 Perspectives in Rheumatic Diseases Conference, September 25-26, 2026, at Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The PRD Scholarship Program Grant Outline
- MedscapeLIVE! will provide you with a complimentary registration to the conference
- Meals are provided as indicated on the program agenda
- MedscapeLIVE! will cover up to three (3) nights hotel stay at Bellagio Hotel & Casino between Thursday, September 24 and Sunday, September 27.
Qualifications
- Residency/Fellowship must be in the US
- Letter of verification from residency program
- Verification letter must state your name, resident/fellow status, and date of program completion.
- NOTE: Hospital/Institution IDs are not suitable as verification of good standing.
Scholarship Commitment
You are required to participate in all general sessions, Resident Luncheon, bonus presentations, symposiums, and workshops beginning Friday, September 25, through Saturday, September 26. Upon check-in to the conference, you will receive information on required sessions and will be scanned into all sessions to verify attendance.
Failure to meet the full attendance requirements as stated above will result in the forfeiture of your scholarship/award. Penalties will include reimbursement to MedscapeLIVE! for your hotel room cost and disqualification for all conference awards and prizes.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON CANCELLATION: You must cancel by August 11, 2026. If you cancel after August 26, 2026, you will be responsible for a $250 charge to offset your hotel room costs.
Selection Criteria
Following the application deadline, all materials will be submitted to a committee for review and selection. Demographic information will not be considered in the selection process. Data points are voluntarily being collected by MedscapeLIVE! to monitor diversity at our conference, to ensure outreach and audience engagement efforts and to effectively meet company goals focused on creating an equitable space for all attendees. In our efforts to be equitable and inclusive, MedscapeLIVE! strives to ensure each applicant is not only welcome to apply but also feels safe and protected when disclosing this information.
Applications close July 25, 2026. All applicants will be notified by July 28, 2026.
